If you have an American Express card that earns Membership Rewards points, you’ll want to check your account ASAP. Some amazing Amazon offers are popping up right now, and you don’t want to miss out!
Here’s what’s happening:
Rob has an Amazon offer on his Amex Platinum card. Meanwhile, other members of my family — myself included — are seeing offers on both our Platinum and Gold ADDITIONAL cards.
Bottom line:
Check your Amex account to see if you have an Amazon offer! Here’s how:
- Log in to your Amex account.
- From the homepage, scroll down until you see “Amex Offers & Benefits.”
- If you have the offer, it’ll be listed there!
Here are two examples of the Amazon offers we’re seeing:
- Earn 500 additional Membership Rewards® points after using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $25 online at Amazon.com by 6/25/2025. (Limit of 1,500 points total.)
- Earn 1,200 additional Membership Rewards® points after spending $150 at Amazon.com by 6/25/2025. (Limit of 3,600 points total.)
👉 Pro tip:
If you don’t see the offer now, check back periodically — offers can show up later!
Why You Should Set Up Separate Logins for Additional Cardholders
This whole situation is a great reminder: Set up individual Amex logins for each of your additional (authorized) cardholders.
Why? Because they might have their own offers!
- If your authorized user sees the Amazon offer, they need to enroll themselves through their own Amex login.
- Once they’re enrolled, you can switch your Amazon payment method to their card after you finish using up your own offer — and keep earning more bonus points!
- Best part: All Membership Rewards points still flow into the primary cardholder’s account — no matter which additional card earned them.
Important:
- Make sure to enroll each cardholder in the offer as soon as possible.
- Offers can disappear if you don’t claim them early, even if they show up now.
Keep Track of Your Amazon Spending
If you’re a big Amazon shopper, you’ll want to keep tabs on your spending:
- After you hit the spending cap on one card, switch to the next card that still has the offer.
- Once you’ve maxed out all offers, switch back to whichever card is your regular “best for Amazon” card (like one with 5x points or cash back).
If you’re diligent about tracking, you can really rack up a ton of Membership Rewards points with these Amazon promos!
