Move Over Uber-How Many Different Points Can You Earn From Just One Lyft Ride?

UnknownUber has always been my ride share service of choice especially because I get my monthly Uber Cash with my Amex Platinum.  However, I recently learned that I could “triple dip” if I use Lyft as I can earn Delta SkyMiles, Hilton Honors Points and the rewards earned from using my card for payment.   In my case, my card would be my Chase Sapphire Reserve and I would earn Chase Ultimate Rewards points on the ride.

Specifically on one Lyft ride, I would earn rewards as follows:

a.    3 Chase Ultimate Rewards per $1

b.    2 SkyMiles per $1 on airport rides or 1 SkyMile per $1 on other rides

c.    3 Hilton Honors points per $1

It was very easy to set up too.  I didn’t even have the Lyft app on my phone, but added it.  I then went to the menu and went to “Promos” and I followed the prompts.  As you can see below, both my Delta and Hilton accounts are “connected”.

It is a very easy decision.  Once I use up my monthly Uber Cash each month, Lyft will be the app I turn to for my rides.  I want to triple dip!!

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
