I paid $338 per ticket for our Hawaiian Airline inter-island flights from Oahu to Kauai, Kauai to Hawaii and Hawaii back to Oahu.  We are all going to earn Hawaiian Airlines miles on the flight.

I used Barclaycard Arrival Miles to offset the $1,690 charge.  You see, with the Barclaycard Arrival Plus World Elite MasterCard, if you pay for travel with the card, you can then redeem your miles for a statement credit within 120 days of the charge.

It took me some time to earn the 169,000 miles, but I finally did and applied them to the $1690 charge.  Don’t forget, it is easy to accumulate miles with the Barclaycard because you always earn 2 Barclaycard Arrival miles for every $1 spent.  This has been my main card for awhile now and it will remain my main card till something better comes along!

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
