REAL ID Act Update-New York, Michigan And Louisiana Got An Extension From DHS

The other day I posted about whether you would be able to board a plane with a valid drivers license based on your state’s compliance with the REAl ID Act.  There were three states, New York, Louisiana and Michigan that did not have an extension past January 22, 2018 to comply and instead were under review.  The Department of Homeland Security has granted these states an extension.  Check out the updated map on the DHS site. Break out those licenses till at least October 11, 2018.
