December was an exciting month for me, filled with opportunities to connect with amazing people and share valuable insights. I had the privilege of participating in two fantastic events that I’m still buzzing about. Here’s a quick recap for those of you who may have missed them:
Stacking Adventures Podcast with Joe Saul-Sehy and Crystal Hammond
One of the highlights of my month was being featured on an episode of the Stacking Adventures podcast, hosted by the dynamic duo Joe Saul-Sehy and Crystal Hammond. As someone who’s passionate about travel and adventure, it was a thrill to sit down with Joe and Crystal and talk about all things travel—from planning your trips to maximizing your experiences on the road.
Joe and Crystal have an incredible ability to connect with listeners through their vibrant energy and insightful stories, and I was honored to share my own experiences and tips for making travel more fulfilling. In this episode, we delved into strategies for adventure, tips on how to pack, how to budget, and how to get the most out of every trip. Study Abroad Success Webinar: Health, Safety, and Financial Strategies
🌍 A Recap of Our December 16th Webinar
Back in mid-December, I had the pleasure of being part of a LIVE webinar called Study Abroad Success: Health, Safety, and Financial Strategies—and what an insightful session it was!
This event was specifically designed for parents and students preparing for study abroad, covering crucial topics like managing health abroad, ensuring safety, and navigating finances when living overseas. Hosted by Hollie Levy and Amy Aberman of GTG Abroad, the webinar featured expert insights from me, Cindy Greenstein (The Points Mom) and Cori Cohen (Founder of MyAbroadMDs). We dove deep into how to handle preexisting health conditions, find trustworthy English-speaking doctors, and manage finances effectively while overseas.
For those of you who missed the live session, I encourage you to check out the recorded version. The tips shared are invaluable for ensuring your child’s study abroad experience is as safe, healthy, and financially secure as possible.
It was such an incredible month of sharing and learning alongside some fantastic people and organizations. These two events were a reminder of the power of knowledge-sharing, whether it’s through a podcast about adventure or a webinar aimed at making international education safer and smoother.
If you’ve missed either of these events, don’t worry—you can still catch up! Be sure to check out the Stacking Adventures podcast episode and stay tuned for future webinars and events that can help you plan your next great adventure—whether that’s a trip abroad or sending your child on a life-changing study abroad journey.
Thanks for being part of these experiences, and I look forward to many more adventures in the year ahead!
