Every year, I take advantage of this targeted offer from American Express.  I have been getting the offer via my American Express Premier Rewards Gold Card.  The offer is for American Express Gift Cards with no purchase fees.  (The purchase fee is usually 3.95 per card.)

I need a lot of them each year as holiday gifts for all of our tennis teachers, baseball instructors, tutors, etc.  You know the drill……  If I had to go buy gift cards in the stores, the purchase fees would add up and oh um, I would need to go to the store……

Instead, I get them online, use the Amex code for the purchase fee discount and have them within a week.  The offer goes through 2/28/15.  (Note-shipping fees still apply.–its minimal!)

And of course I would never buy anything with out earning extra points.  When I pay for the gift cards, with my American Express Premier Rewards Gold Card, the targeted card, I earn American Express Membership Rewards points.  Yay!

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
