Three Reasons Why I Will Be Using Uber Eats For A Bit, Even If It Means Me Doing The Work Of Ordering

I don’t always enroll in delivery service offers. Reason being, my kids do most of the ordering for take out in our house.  However, I did enroll in two new offers from Amex when I saw them, especially because I knew I was going to use UberEats anyway before the end of the month to use my $15 monthly Uber Credit.

And I am happy that I did.

VALID THRU 12/31/21-One offer is to get up to 12 complimentary months of Eats Pass when you subscribe with your Green, Gold, or Platinum card, a value Amex deems at $119. With the Eats Pass you get unlimited $0 Delivery Fee and 5% off orders over $15 at eligible restaurants.

If you want the Uber Eats Pass, follow the directions in this Amex link.

EXPIRED-The other offer that I clicked enroll on is that I am getting 9 additional Membership Rewards points for each dollar spent online at ubereats.com or on the Uber Eats mobile app by 12/31/2020. There is a limit of 1,800 Membership Rewards points.

So the other night, when we ordered Chinese food…..our $80 order ended up being about $60. In the end, it was great that I said yes to the offers and used Uber Eats because…

  1. We used my $15 in monthly Uber Cash
  2. We got 5% off the order
  3. And I earned about 800 points on the order!

If you want to take advantage of the 9 extra points, log in to your account and scroll down to your offers and add it to your card.

I guess I will have to take on the role as food ordered for the immediate future. Ugh!

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
