If you are a member of American Express Membership Rewards you can transfer your Membership Rewards points, in 1,000-point increments, to your Virgin Atlantic Flyer Club account. Usually, 1000 American Express Membership Rewards points equals 1000 Flying Club miles.

But through November 30, 2017, Amex is offering a 30% transfer bonus to Virgin Atlantic.  Instead of the normal 1:1 transfer ratio, when you transfer 1,000 Amex points to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, you will end up with 1,300 Flying Club miles.
