If you have a Citi ThankYou Card, those being the ThankYou Prestige, ThankYou Premier, or ThankYou Preferred you can, for a limited time, transfer your ThankYou Points to American Airlines.  You can do this thru 11/13/21 and you can do it at a 1:1 ratio with the Prestige and Premier card and at a ratio of 2:1 with the Preferred card.

This is the first time in forever that AA has ever accepted transfers from any bank’s loyalty program. Maybe they are in talks to partner up (complete speculation on my part).

I am not saying you should do this, but you should know that for the next 4 months or so, this option is available to you and your flight searches can include American as well if you have the ThankYou Points and want to try to snag some flights on airline miles!

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
