If you have an American Express Membership Rewards account, you can transfer points to participating frequent travel programs, one program being Etihad Guest Miles and another being Aeromexico Rewards. Usually 1,000 Membership Rewards point equals 1,000 Etihad Guest Miles and 1,600 Aeromexico Rewards.
However, now through 4/30/2025, you can receive 20% more when you transfer Membership Rewards points to your Etihad account and Aeromexico account. So during this offer, 1,000 American Express Membership Rewards points will yield 1,200 Etihad Guest Miles and 1,920 Aeromexico Rewards points.
