Card Highlights

U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve Visa Infinite Card is a Credit Card

With a credit card, you can carry a balance and accrue interest if necessary. Note this is not advised by me. The points game does not work well, if you are carrying a balance and accruing interest. See #4 in Let’s Get Started To Earning Free Travel.

50% More In Value When You Redeem Your Points For Travel

When you use points to redeem for merchandise, entertainment, gift cards and cash back, each point is worth $.01 (one cent), which means that 100 points equals $1 in redemption value.  However, each point you redeem for travel is worth $.0150 (one and a half cents), which means that 100 points equals $1.50 in redemption value, and points are worth 50% more than if redeemed for other purchases.  For example, a 450 flight requires 30,000 points. (NOT 45,000).

The Points Mom And The U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve Visa Infinite Card

I am excited to say that after carefully strategizing, I secured the card.  Yay! But note, this strategizing is no longer necessary as now anyone can apply and be approved for a U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve card. When I applied back in 2017, I had to be a US Bank customer already!

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
