Now that you have accumulated all of these AAdvantage miles, how can you use these miles for free travel?  The options are listed below.  Also, click here to read about how I used AAdvantage miles for free flights to Vail.  I also used them for a free flight to AspenI also used AA miles for a free flight to Morocco.  Most recently, I booked free flights to Reno for a ski trip to Lake Tahoe

1. Use Miles For Flights

You can use your AAdvantage miles to book flights on American Airlines and JetBlue and oneworld and other participating airlines

2. Use Miles For Upgrades

Redeem your miles for cabin upgrades to flights in Business Class or First Class.

3. Use Miles For Hotel Stays

Starting in 2025, you can use the miles you earned for World of Hyatt Free Night Awards. More details to follow.

Also. you can redeem American Airlines AAdvantage miles for hotel stays at more than 150,000 properties in over 500 destinations worldwide.  Flexible payment options allow you to use miles, or a combination of cash plus as few as 1,000 miles, to pay for your reservation.

4. Use Miles For Car Rentals

Use miles car rentals.

5. Use Miles For Vacation Packages

Use miles to book vacation packages through American Airlines.

6.  Use Miles For Admiral’s Club Membership Fee

Admiral’s Clubs are the airport lounges of American Airlines.  You can purchase an annual membership with your AAdvantage miles.
